Apart from the examples above, other technical aspects to note are the pull-out shelves used for easy and safe access to the numerous microscopes. These are fitted with anti-slip matting and arranged in lockable cabinets ( Lista B251 Series).Through the two rooms this type of cabinet is varied in height and purpose, with some for example fitted with both fixed or pull-out display drawers and glass fronted sections allowing 'open' storage. . . and all are stabilised for safety. The waist-high units( with the bench – matching tops ) are alternatively fitted with five or six drawers for the safe storage of rocks or fossils. These Lista B75 Series –cabinets measure 1023mm wide x 725mm deep x 1000mm high.
